Circle Time is a parent support group engaging Black families raising children 2 months to 5.5 years old. When a family “steps into the circle” they join other families once a month for parenting workshops and children’s programming. Together we are strengthening the bonds between parent and child by practicing Ancestral methods of child rearing. This often looks like attachment parenting, baby wearing, breastfeeding, and positive gentle practices.
Parents utilize Ages and Stages Questionnaires to celebrate their child’s developmental milestones and gain knowledge of child development.
A space for parents and caregivers of youth ages 0-2 of African decent to exchange ideas, celebrate and share our journeys through triumphs, milestones, and achievements.
A healing circle for women of African heritage co-facilitated by Black female mental health therapists. Methods of healing and maintaining mental health and supporting one another in life's journey are celebrated at this monthly gathering.
Brother Healing Brother is a space for men of color to share their collective experiences. Our goal is to support each other's healing journey by providing a sense brotherhood, resource sharing and unapologetic Black joy.
